As many of you know, we’re in the midst of home projects. I’ve been eager to share with you all what plans we have in store. So I hope you follow along while I share my inspiration and plans right here.
Our projects are pretty much taking up two floors in our home right now. While some are big, we have a few minor projects underway too and I’m finding those to be my favorite. The small details always seem to get me the most. Every room is getting a face lift. A fresh new look.
The kid’s playroom is the room I’m currently designing and planning out and I’m having so much fun doing so. Their playroom is located in our finished basement. And while our basement doesn’t look anywhere near finished right now being that half of it is under construction, their play area will remain downstairs. The bummer about our new plans is that the playroom will pretty much be cut in half. Giving the girls less space, but I’m actually really excited about it. For a long time, half of our basement was kid’s stuff. Toys, arts and crafts, bulky items that took up so much space. It was a pain to clean and organize and keep on top of. The new plans offer simplicity and a better plan to keep things organized, two of my favorite things. So I’m looking forward it.
One of the things we’ll be adding to their new playroom is a daybed. The daybed will suit multiple purposes. Not only for a seating area for the girls but it will be perfect for when guests stay with us and when the girls have sleepovers.
I’ve been scoring the internet for a daybed to not only fit our needs but style and budget too. I thought I’d share some of my favorites below with you just in case you’re in the market for one. We actually purchased two of these but returned one of them already and are in heavy debate over the other one yet.
And although I told myself I would never do wallpaper again after removing it in our dinning room, I’m finding myself considering it for their playroom. Only this time I will be using removable. I’ll share those details and a mood board with you soon. In the meantime, you can stay up to speed on inspiration and direction by visiting my most recent pins!
